Dr. Asma Ghrab
Dr. Ghrab is a graduate from the École Nationale de Médecine Vétérinaire in Tunisia, where she grew up by the Mediterranean coast of North Africa. As a kid, she enjoyed horseback riding, loved the company of her poodle and her horses, and spent much of her childhood surrounded by animals. Later, it was natural for her to choose to become a veterinarian and she graduated in 2011. She began her career as a mixed animal practitioner in Tunisia for four years. She enrolled in the Chinese Veterinary Acupuncture program at the Chi Institute in Florida, before moving to Canada.
In Canada, she earned her qualification certificate to practice veterinary medicine and started working in 2019. She is committed to excellent and compassionate Fear Free veterinary care to all furry friends. Dr. Ghrab is bilingual, and while she enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, she has a special interest in surgery, geriatric care, acupuncture and holistic medicine. She currently lives in the east end of Ottawa with her husband, daughter and son. When she’s not working, she enjoys hiking and playing classical music on the cello.
