Dog Anal Gland Expression

If my dog scoots on the carpet, does this mean their anal glands are impacted?

Scooting is one of the possible signs of impacted anal glands, but it could be a sign of other things as well. If your dog is scooting, we recommend booking an appointment to have the glands examined and see if they are the cause.
